The DK8000 door closer is designed for heavy traffic areas, such as interior and exterior doors of department stores, aluminum storefronts, factories, schools, restaurants, offices, and other public places. This hydraulic door closer is adjustable in size from 1-6 and is suitable for doors weighing up to 150kg (330 lbs max) and measuring 800-1500mm (31-60 inches) wide. Additionally, it is a non-handed closer that will work on left or right-handed doors exposed to extreme temperatures.

The door closer consists of a US26D satin chrome-plated precision cast aluminum body and forged steel arm. It features heat-treated pistons and powder-coated bodies that provide excellent protection and corrosion resistance even in harsh environments. The door closer system features 3 valves for adjustable closing speed, latching speed, delay action, and backcheck, ensuring quiet operation.

These commercial door closer systems are ideal for commercial and industrial applications. They are UL228-listed, ANSI/BHMA A156.4 certified, and have a UL-certified three-hour fire rating. As ANSI Grade 1 commercial door hardware, they are designed to withstand 2,000,000+ cycles, making them suitable for heavy traffic commercial applications. The hydraulic door closer is built to close consistently and securely, preventing slamming while ensuring smooth door closure. It can be attached in a left or right configuration to any common door frame and jamb material, accommodating wood, aluminum, and steel.

Each pack of the hydraulic door closer includes all the necessary hardware, installation templates, and a detailed guide, such as brackets and soffit plates for installation using any of the three mounting types: regular arm mounting, top jamb mounting, and parallel arm mounting.

Mounted on the Pull Side of the Door, the regular mounting involves attaching the door closer to the door, with the arm mounted on the top frame.

Mounted on the Push Side of the Door, the top jamb mounting is a type of door closer installation where the closer is mounted on the top of the door frame, rather than on the door face.

The parallel arm mounting, also mounted on the Push Side of the Door, is a type of installation that is used when the door closer is mounted on the face of the door and is used with the parallel arm mounting bracket.
